Hydroxysteroid-isomerase Deficiency	

Hydroxysteroid-isomerase deficiency leads to the inadequate production of cortisol, mineralocorticoids and androgens; an inadequate production of the latter causes developmental abnormalities in the male and female foetus. Cortisol and aldosterone deficiencies also produce metabolic disorders in this condition.
